Signing in to Upwork
Pending approval. BidRunner will connect through Upwork's own official sign-in. You approve on Upwork's page, and your Upwork password never reaches BidRunner. Until Upwork approves BidRunner, nobody connects an account.
What BidRunner will not do
- Handle your Upwork password: it never reaches us, now or after the connection is approved.
- Send a proposal for you. You copy the draft and send it yourself, so nothing leaves without your click.
- Train or evaluate models on Upwork job text.
What is stored today
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- The notes and past work you give BidRunner so drafts sound like you.
- The jobs you paste in, and the verdicts and drafts made from them.
To have your data deleted, email [email protected]. The privacy page covers who processes it.
What will be stored after the connection (planned)
This is the plan, and it waits on Upwork's approval. None of it is switched on today.
- A sealed access token from Upwork, which is never a password. Disconnecting revokes it and deletes it.
- Job and message text that comes from Upwork is cleared after 24 hours. Upwork's terms cap how long it can be kept. Your own drafts and your decisions stay.
- A log of each call to Upwork (which action, when, and whether it worked), with no job or message content in it.
Not affiliated with Upwork
BidRunner is not endorsed by Upwork Inc. You are responsible for your own account, so read Upwork's current terms before you connect. Report a security problem to [email protected].
